MISSION
The Children’s Cancer Center (CCC) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing children who have cancer or chronic blood disorders and their families with the educational, emotional and financial assistance necessary to cope with their life-threatening illnesses.
PATIENT & FAMILY SERVICES
Proudly serving the community for over 37 years, the CCC currently provides support programs and services to over 800 families including: Big Buddy Mentoring, Summer Camps, Family Fun Events, Holiday Adopt-A-Family, Oncology Group Night, Little Tales Playgroup, Sickle Cell Group Night, Love Bundles, Post-Secondary Scholarships, Surviving Oncology and Readjusting, Teen Group, Bereavement Group, Young Adult Group and After-School Tutoring.
Through the programs and services listed above, the CCC provides a unique and hands-on approach to coping and readjusting. Annual financial assistance can range from paying electric bills to funeral expenses, which provides a sigh of relief for families struggling for their children’s lives. All of the CCC’s programs and services are offered to families at no cost, no matter their financial, insurance or marital status.
FUNDING
The CCC depends on the contributions of individual and corporate donors, as well as grant writing, special events, our annual Holiday Card Project, Holiday Appeal and Annual Appeal. All funds raised are carefully managed and allocated amongst our many programs and services, in order to provide a pleasant and fulfilling experience for the hundreds of families served by the CCC.
